The Homelander

"The Homelander" was created on July 14, 2022, using my Apple iPad, Apple Pencil, and Autodesk Sketchbook drawing software. This stylized piece depicts Antony Starr in his role as "The Homelander" from the series The Boys. It was a massive project that required meticulous attention to texture, design, and poster layout. The custom superhero costume draws inspiration from the comic variant of the series. I'm particularly proud of this piece as it exceeded my expectations, especially in the texture of the suit, the detailed line art in the hair, and the nuanced shading around the face and hair.

7-Twelve

"7-Twelve" was created on May 16, 2022, using my Apple iPad, Apple Pencil, and Autodesk Sketchbook drawing software. In this digital piece, I depicted a dark blue 1991 Acura NSX parked in front of a parody gas station named "7-Twelve". The inspiration came from social media posts of custom cars at gas stations. This project was a refreshing change of pace, as I was able to create something with a definite form, meticulously following the rules of perspective to ensure the building and vehicle looked accurate.

Orange in Catalogue

"Orange in Catalogue" was created on July 27, 2021, using an Apple iPad, Apple Pencil, and Autodesk Sketchbook drawing software. This digital piece features a stylized person sitting against an orange background, dressed in pale-colored clothes. The piece was made as an exploration of color and form, experimenting with the contrast between the vibrant background and the subtle tones of the clothing, emphasizing simplicity and effectiveness.

Blue in Orange

The primary goal was to become more familiar with the tools in Autodesk Sketchbook while focusing on a drawing that predominantly uses one or two colors. The dynamic shading in the clothing adds an intriguing element to this color study.

This stylized piece features Josuke Kujo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, a series renowned for its dynamic color palette. The use of vivid colors and intricate details brings Josuke Kujo to life, showcasing my ability to blend anime influences with digital art techniques.

It was a commissioned piece, meticulously drafted, created, and sold to a buyer. The design captures the fierce and imposing presence of the oni, blending traditional Japanese elements with a modern digital art style. Galaxy Man 2

"Galaxy Man 2" created on July 4, 2020, is a digital piece using the open-source digital painting application Krita. This piece is a follow-up to the original "Galaxy Man Moniker" piece. Over time, I developed a clearer vision of how I wanted to create pieces involving this character, making it a recognizable element of my portfolio. This piece adheres to the same principles as the original, featuring bold, stylized elements with bright, warm colors contrasting with a central figure.

The Weeknd

"The Weeknd" created on May 6, 2020, is a digital piece using the open-source digital painting application Krita. This piece was inspired by the release of The Weeknd's "After Hours" album and its music videos. It began as a physical drawing, which was later digitized for color choices and materials. This design and name moniker later became a recurring theme in my work, leading to more pieces featuring this character. It was important to keep the project stylized while ensuring it still resembled The Weeknd.

Galaxy Man Moniker

"Galaxy Man Moniker" created on September 19, 2019, is a digital piece using the open-source digital painting application Krita. This piece began as a spontaneous late-night drawing, depicting a galaxy emerging from a man. At the time, I used clothes I frequently wore as a reference. This design and name moniker later became a recurring theme in my work. I also connected this character to my moniker, "Lord_Yoshi". The use of color theory enhances the contrast and overall impact of the image.

Sorcerer Supreme

"Sorcerer Supreme" created on June 26, 2018, is a digital piece using Krita and a Wacom Intuos Art Pen and Touch Tablet. This realistic drawing captures the powerful and heroic presence of Benedict Cumberbatch's Dr. Strange with an attempt at realistic color choices. I became more comfortable with the Wacom tablet through this piece. It taught me the value of drawing from reference while also showing me areas for improvement.

Goku Rose

This digital drawing captures the vibrant and dynamic presence of Goku Rose with a stunning blend of colors.
